Help Assist Black American Women.
According to Catalyst.org, previous evaluations have shown that black women living in America make up about 12.9% of the overall female population. Unfortunately, within the United States, black women have continuously gone under-appreciated, under-rated, and unrecognized.
The incredibly courageous, heroic, and inspiring actions of Harriet Tubman as an abolitionist, public speaker, union civil war leader, leader of multiple open-door policy fundraisers, women's rights activist, and founder of the Harriet Tubman Home for The Aged has extraordinarily assisted the freedoms, rights, and well-being of American black women. Today, Kamala Harris's remarkable journey of becoming the first women of color to serve as the United States' Vice President is yet another influential story, as Harris was previously San Fransisco's first women of color to serve as their District Attorney, and also the second ever women of color to serve as the United States' Senator in 2016.

Another evaluation that Catalyst.org analyzed upon their webpage was that in 2017-2018, the total percentage of black American women who earned their bachelor's degrees was at a 11.4%, which is a decreased percentage compared to the highest percentage reached back in 2011-2012 at 12.3%. Although many American citizens may not be in a politically active, justice enforcing, or socially influential position to help directly affect the many unethical and corrupt social issues in our nation, there are still many advantageous organizations that are providing support to black American women who are in need of assistance.
These four organizations listed below primarily fight and address racial and gender barriers that black women and girls often encounter, design and develop projects to make social changes in their communities, promote social awareness campaigns through community leadership activities, and indorse health advocacy support systems. Ultimately, donations to these organizations will directly go towards improving participants' skills and knowledge about financial literacy, political policies, mental health services (along with self-care information), and by helping black American women receive true justice upon areas like economic marginalization and other social inequality circumstances.

In April 1970, the Earth Day organization officially began their mission to help support and preserve our earth's environment. The Earth Day organization's overall mission is to diversify, educate, and activate the environmental movement amongst people and societies worldwide.
The Earth Day organization contributes towards a variety of specific environmental causes and provides many educational material for individuals to engage with alone or with family and friends. The organization does not only offer a webpage that delivers quality information, but they also offer the opportunity for individuals to become a member.

By yearly donating funds to a specific category of support that you choose, first-and-foremost, you will be donating to a cause that will help earth's entirety.
More specifically, your funds will be geared towards the organization's long-term action plans of achieving goals such as universal environmental knowledge, advocation for civil and corporate action on climate change, education about pollution, and the recruitment of the other millions of individuals who are concerned with our planet's environmental conditions.
As a member of the Earth Day organization, you and many other members will be the first to hear of the various new volunteer opportunities and events that appear near you 365 days of the year! The Earth Day organization offers five stages of memberships that can be categorized as, "Earth Ally (Bronze Member), Advocate for the Earth (Silver Member), Earth Activist (Gold Member), Defender of the Earth (Elite Membership), and Champion of the Earth (Premier Member)."

Resume Building Tips #2.
Continuing on with building a resume, after an individual has completed and edited a variety of their dynamic and unique thumbnail designs, one can then move on towards creating a COMP. By selecting one or multiple design characteristics or layouts, a person can then start to creatively expand their ideas and goals for their resume. The COMP is usually about double the size of a thumbnail design, and should feature some more details about a person's personal information and previous life experience.
Working upon the COMP process of one's resume project is a great opportunity for an individual to practice, but to also experiment with one's own design concepts. Again, the example above displays a COMP in which reflects an enhanced and increased in sized version of an individuals previously created thumbnail designs. The COMP should include all of the individual's intended personal information and previous experience, but also should present a more solidified outline or layout of one's resume design.

Resume Building Tips.
When creating a new resume for the first time, or updating a current resume, there are many unique factors and elements that a person should be aware of before starting or editing their professional resume. While living in today's modern times, there are a few more updated aspects and details that one's professional resume should include, and not include.
Within this example of a professional resume, there are a variety of good qualities that contribute towards the resume's general information, but there are a few things that could be done to improve this resume's overall appeal and context. This resume provides a little too much information, and its visual display could use a revamped appearance.
Beginning with this resume's personal contact information, it was great of the resume's owner to include his name, phone number, email address, and his LinkedIn account's URL, but it was unnecessary of him to include his physical address. Within the creator's, "Skills," section, he should have expanded some more upon his professional traits/qualities, and for the, "Education," section, a person should only actually display their highest completed level of education or only their college achievements/current status.
As for this resume's overall presentation, there could be more done to its design to emphasize key information, and to make its appearance stand out from all of the rest. By creating, "Thumbnail," sketches of one's resume, an individual can proactively generate and creatively articulate new designs to enhance their presence and uniqueness.
Upon these thumbnail sketches, we can see eight different resume designs that appear more dynamic than the original resume. The original resume was composed through a Word Document, where one of these potential thumbnail designs will be created upon some of Adobe's services.
By implementing different design styles of fonts, organization, shapes, structure, and/or unique color schemes, one's resume may have the ability to stand out from all of the other applicants. However, it is important to not over-complicate one's layout, or overcrowd one's resume with too much information.
The exampled thumbnail sketches do display many variations of different layouts and organizational structure, but they do also feature some designs with different shapes within them. After selecting a desired layout and preferred structure, a person could also consider applying a scheme of colors and shapes within their resume to help boost its attractiveness and presentation.
While evaluating different shapes to incorporate within your resume, an individual should be considerate of their shape's visual connections. When properly managing a shape's proximity, alignment, and repetition, one's resume is sure to draw-in plenty of attention and focus.
Referencing back to a resume's layout and structure, perhaps the most important element of one's professional resume, is its overall alignment. By having designated and clarified sections upon one's resume for their personal contact information, skills, traits, education, and previous work experience, this will enable employers to evaluate an individual's application more efficiently.
In conclusion, whether you may be creating a new professional resume or simply needing to update your current professional resume, remember to carefully review and analyze both your overall literal content and visual design. A professional resume should not be anything that is rushed or thrown together, but should definitely be the best literal representation of your qualified professional self!
